Mark R. Miller, Of Counsel to the firm, has practiced continuously for 44 years, focusing exclusively in commercial litigation for corporate and individual clients in state and federal courts. He has first-chaired multiple bench and jury trials to verdict, argued appeals in both state and federal appellate courts, tried adversary claims in bankruptcy court, secured restraining orders and injunctions when immediate relief was needed, and litigated cases on behalf of the University of Minnesota, the Resolution Trust Corporation, and the Attorney General for the State of Ohio, among others.
Mark received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Chicago Law School, and his Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of Minnesota.
He has written and published articles regarding civil litigation, specifically dealing with testimony of expert witnesses and liability of professionals for services rendered in commercial transactions. He has received an AV (Pre-eminent) rating by the Martindale-Hubbell.
